The mission of Arts Fort Worth is to promote, nurture, and support the arts in Fort Worth. Arts Fort Worth’s competitive
grants programs fulfill this mission by supporting local arts organizations and the artistic programming they provide within
our city.

CORE PLUS Outreach Grants support live, summertime, in-person community engagement through the performing, visual, and interdisciplinary arts in all communities of Fort Worth. CORE PLUS Outreach Grants support live, in-person community engagement through the performing, visual, and interdisciplinary arts in all communities of Fort Worth. Apply for both Operating and Outreach Project Support with one application! If your organization's key mission is arts education, you can apply for CORE operating only.

Review guidelines for matching grants available.

Attend mandatory training for grant applicants in May 2025. RSVP by emailing Arts Fort Worth here. ​

Determine budget size.

a. Budgets under $100,000, apply for CORE Operating support under Small Budget Organizations.

b. Budgets $100,000 and over, apply for CORE Operating support under Mid to Large Budget Organizations.

Create an outreach project and apply for CORE PLUS matching funds up to $20,000 through this same application.

When are the grant announcements made?
Organizations awarded a CORE or CORE Plus grant will be notified in November 2024.

What are organizations evaluated on?
Applications are evaluated and scored on Community impact (50 points), capability (30 points), artistic mission (20 points) for a possible total of 100 points. For full details, please read the grant guidelines.

What if my organization missed the training?
Please email Arts Fort Worth at grants@artsfortworth.org for assistance.

Who should attend the training?
A representative from applicant organizations planning to apply, ideally a grant writer or someone who can communicate well with the grant writer, must particpate in either the in-person or the video conferencing.
